In the tongue of your right shoe, roughly at the Joya emblem, there is an NFC tag. You may know NFC tags, for example, from contactless payments with a bank card. This NFC tag opens the door to an exclusive world of FC St. Gallen and kybun Joya.
How does the tag work? Small amounts of data are transmitted over very short distances. However, the technology only works if an NFC-compatible device – in the case of the FCSG sneaker, your phone – is held in close proximity. Activation without your knowledge is not possible. Important: Your phone must be NFC-compatible.
Is my data safe? NFC tags do not transmit signals on their own; they cannot track movement, locate people, or read data from the smartphone or other devices. Hidden access or surveillance is not possible.
